Relaxed Dressing Style

Section Progress:

Message: I’m easy going, approachable and unpretentious.

Colors: Soft blues and greens, sage, rust, sand, olive, ochre – the colors of nature.

Key Elements: Comfort is key, will prefer comfort over appearance and will opt for fabrics with stretch or garments that are loose.

Textures: Textured garments are common, often prefer texture over pattern, except for patterns such as marle, which look like a texture.  Nubbly or ribbed fabrics plus denim fabrics are common.  Matte finish.

Patterns: More solids than patterns but will go for horizontal stripes and checks.

Accessories: Polished stones (such as turquoise or lapis lazuli) rather than cut gems.  Simple and uncluttered.  Natural materials favored, such as wooden beads, coral or fabrics.  Shoes must be comfortable, thicker soles that protect the feet, straps to hold the feet in, sneakers are favored as are boots.   Bags – hands-free styles preferred, from messenger styles to backpacks.  It’s all about practicality.

Grooming: Wash and wear, minimal fuss and grooming.  Prefer minimal, sometimes no, makeup.  Never really “done up”.  Feel overdressed easily.
