Congratulations on participating up to this point. You should now have a clearer and deeper understanding of your style pillars (the first activity where you did a deep dive from Page 5 of your Style Types Report) and you’ve identified your top five universal style values (the second activity).
Now it’s time to bring those two things together, meshing the personal values that influence your approach to style and how you express it based on your style essence.
Style values + style pillars = style foundation.
You’ll be invited to create a unique statement of your style values, bringing your top 3 universal style values and your Style Type pillars into the mix to create a unique picture or narrative of your style values and priorities. (Note: this is not a style statement or style recipe, which we will be exploring, amongst other things, in Module 3).
Example – Charming Stylist ESFJ with Influential, Social and Aesthetic as top 3 style values:
Influential Details – what I wear says something important about me. I use my detail-orientation to dress appropriately for all the situations that matter to me. I love to feel beautiful and look my best. I put time and effort into my style, and I’m happy to be seen and experienced as a go-to woman of style.
Social Aesthetic Harmony – my outfits help me achieve harmony in my relationships and environments. I enjoy wearing and acquiring beautiful things, and being appreciated for my sense of style. Interacting happily with others is an important part of what makes my style meaningful to me and makes me feel happy in my life.
