Now we’ve established a foundation of what a universally well put together wardrobe space is, and had a look at your wardrobing process as well as the 7 keys for effective wardrobing for your Style Type, let’s explore your wardrobe space.
Whatever your space is now and whoever you are (including your Style Type and your particular preferences and idiosyncrasies around organizing and being organized), the purpose of your wardrobe should have one consistent quality: it should support your style essence and it should activate your style expression.
How that is done is unique and personal to you. Your perfect wardrobe may not resemble any other woman’s, and that is just fine – so long as it works for you.
A “wonderful, working wardrobe” is the goal – but you get to determine what those terms mean for you.
Let’s explore this now – you may find a quick tour of your wardrobe space is required before you respond to the Your Wardrobe Space Explorations in the Module 8 PDF Page 26.
Your Wonderful Working Wardrobe
Up until now in this Module, we’ve been exploring your wardrobe space – the physical space in which your clothing and accessories are housed. The box, the packaging, the container.
To deepen our exploration, let’s now look at the actual contents of your wardrobe. After all, a wardrobe isn’t a theoretical concept, it’s a physical practical reality and its purpose is to support and activate: Support your style essence, and activate your style expression.
So we can’t merely look at the space – the box, the packaging, the container. We must also look at the contents – the clothing, the shoes, the accessories, the everything else that’s in there that you wear. This exploration will inform your understanding of your wardrobe space and how effective – how wonderful and working – it really is. Favorite pieces and outfits will be explored, in the context of how easily you can access them, to activate your style expression.
Keep Page 19 of your Style Type Report open so you can reference the 7 keys to effective wardrobing (you may find page 13 of this Module where you captured your notes on your wardrobing processes handy here too), and into your wardrobe we’ll go. We’ll continue to use the term ”wonderful working wardrobe” as a foundational concept that applies irrespective of your Style Type – with you defining what “wonderful” and “working” mean to you!
It’s time to do the explorations on your Wonderful Working Wardrobe in the Module 8 PDF Page 32.
