Many of us on an authentic style quest will have a “most stylish version” of ourselves in mind. This may be a specific inner image we hold, or it may be more of a feeling state we are after. It may include details or be focused more on the big picture. It may include how competent or confident we feel about ourselves and our style. This “most stylish version” of ourselves may be many things.
What we’re intrigued about here at 16 Style Types is how this version of our most stylish self is connected to our personality. Which is why we ask these style questions on our Facebook Page — we are endlessly intrigued by how real women experience their style, and the connections their style has to their psychological type.

- Confident that I looked current/modern. Well fitting clothes. Not overdressed or underdressed for the occasion. Coordinated and chic but with an individual look (ISFJ)
- Happy and at peace, I would feel beautiful and myself – truly being me (ESFJ)
- Confident and approachable (ISFJ)
- Perfect hair, 5 kg less, clothes that doesn’t need adjusting throughout the day (ESFP)
